ഡെൽഹി : മുഹമ്മദ് നബിക്കെതിരായ ബിജെപി വക്താവ് നൂപുർ ശർമ അടക്കമുള്ള ബിജെപി നേതാക്കളുടെ ചാനൽ ചർച്ചയിലെ പ്രസ്താവനയ്ക്ക് എതിരെ രൂക്ഷവിമർശനമുയർത്തിയ പാകിസ്ഥാനെതിരെ ആഞ്ഞടിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ. ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങളെ തുട‍ർച്ചയായി വേട്ടയാടുന്ന രാജ്യം സംരക്ഷകരാകാൻ നോക്കേണ്ടെന്ന് വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രാലയം പുറത്തിറക്കിയ വാർത്താക്കുറിപ്പിൽ തുറന്നടിക്കുന്നു. മതഭ്രാന്തരെ മഹത്വവത്കരിക്കുന്ന പാകിസ്ഥാനെപ്പോലെയല്ല, എല്ലാ മതങ്ങളെയും ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യമാണ് ഇന്ത്യയെന്നും വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രാലയ വക്താവ് അരിന്ദം ബാഗ്ചി പുറത്തിറക്കിയ പ്രസ്താവനയിൽ പറയുന്നു.

വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രാലയം പുറത്തിറക്കിയ പ്രസ്താവന ഇങ്ങനെ:

In response to media queries regarding tweet by the Pakistani Prime Minister and statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Official Spokesperson Shri Arindam Bagchi said:

"We have noted statements and comments from Pakistan.

The absurdity of a serial violator of minority rights commenting on the treatment of minorities in another nation is not lost on anyone. The world has been witness to the systemic persecution of minorities including Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and Ahmadiyyas by Pakistan.

The Government of India accords the highest respect to all religions. This is quite unlike Pakistan where fanatics are eulogized and monuments built in their honour.

We call on Pakistan to focus on the safety, security and well-being of its minority communities instead of engaging in alarmist propaganda and attempting to foment communal disharmony in India.”

ബിജെപി നേതാക്കളുടെ നബിവിരുദ്ധ പ്രസ്താവന രാജ്യാന്തര രംഗത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ തിരിച്ചടി മറികടക്കാൻ തിരക്കിട്ട നീക്കമാണ് ഇന്ത്യ നടത്തുന്നത്. അറബ് മേഖലയിലെ സുഹൃദ് രാജ്യങ്ങളോട് കാര്യങ്ങൾ വിശദീകരിക്കാനാണ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ തീരുമാനം. ഇസ്ലാമിക രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ സംഘടന ഇക്കാര്യത്തിൽ നടത്തിയ അഭിപ്രായപ്രകടനം ചിലരുടെ പ്രേരണ കൊണ്ടെന്നാണ് പരോക്ഷമായി പാകിസ്ഥാനെ വിമർശിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രാലയം പ്രതികരിച്ചത്.
